ForAgents
Give your agent a creative engine: generate video, image, audio, and speech through a single Pika API.
You are my Pika API onboarding and creative build agent.
Your goal is to take me from an idea to one successful, useful generation,
then recommend the next Pika capability that would improve my project.
Start by asking what I want to build and whether you are working in a
repository, an app builder, or chat only.
Fetch https://dev.pika.art/llms.txt, choose the best model and operation for my goal, then
fetch its linked specification. Do not guess endpoints, fields, model support,
or pricing.
If PIKA_API_KEY is not configured, guide me through https://dev.pika.art/login and help me
store the key securely. Never ask me to paste it into chat, expose it in
browser code, or commit it.
Recommend one approach with a clear reason, not a menu of models. Tell me what
the first generation will do, then build and run it when your environment
allows. Ask before creating batches or using expensive settings.
Finish with working code or a generated artifact, explain the model choice, and
suggest one compelling image, video, audio, speech, or transformation
capability to try next.
Edit the project, configure its existing server-side environment
convention, run the integration, and verify the output. All aboutthe Pika API
What is the Pika API Club?
Pika API Club is a membership program that gives builders access to the world's leading Gen Media models through a single API — at previously impossible prices. We felt that Gen Media had gotten too expensive, and most builders didn't even realize they've been paying a significant markup. So, we built the API Club to fix this. We negotiate better prices on members' behalf, and pass the savings on to them.
How is this so cheap?
Honestly? We're taking very little profit. We negotiate the prices to be as low as possible, and then keep our markup minimal.
How much cheaper is your model pricing?
Pika API Club is up to 88% cheaper than other API aggregators' model prices, depending on the model and who you're comparing against. Check out our pricing page for the most up-to-date prices, and a calculator that lets you see how much you'll save. One important note: we can't guarantee we're going to be the cheapest on every single model vs. every competitor. That's our goal, but sometimes our negotiation skills only go so far. We'll always be incredibly transparent about this on the pricing page.
How does membership work?
Our membership is very simple.
- Membership is $10/month and unlocks member (wholesale) pricing.
- New members get a $10 credit toward their first month of usage.
- Beyond the flat membership fee, model usage is pay-as-you-go. You only pay for what you actually generate, at member rates.
- You can cancel anytime.
Why is there a membership fee at all?
Great question. The membership fee is what allows Pika to negotiate better rates on your behalf and pass genuine wholesale pricing to our members rather than baking a hidden markup into every API call. And it's how we keep pricing transparent: a flat, predictable membership cost, plus usage-based pricing you can see model-by-model. This means no opaque per-call markup, which is where most Gen Media providers are gouging users. The good news here? The membership pays for itself fast. You'd only need to generate three 15-second Seedance 2.0 videos to save more than the $10 membership fee (vs. Runway Dev pricing on Seedance 2.0 text-to-video 480p).
Which models are available?
So many. We're launching with 100+ leading Gen Media models across video, image, audio, speech, and LLM, and we'll be adding more all the time. A few highlights include: Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 (4K, Motion Control), Veo 3.1, Grok Imagine Video, Seedream 5.0 Pro/4.5/4.0/Lite, GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2 & Pro, Eleven Music, MiniMax Music 2.6, Claude Fable 5, and more. You can see the full list on our models page.
What does "agent-native" mean?
The Pika API is built to be legible to AI agents and LLMs, not just human developers reading docs. This means there's no complicated documentation to parse – you can just copy one onboarding prompt directly into your agent or vibe-coding platform (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, and ChatGPT are supported at launch) and start building immediately.
Do you have enterprise plans?
You bet. Contact us, and we'll chat about your specific needs. Here's a little taste of what we can provide:
- Volume pricing: committed-use discounts that improve as you scale (up to 70% off)
- Higher concurrency: increased limits for higher throughput at scale
- Reserved capacity: predictable access and performance, even during demand spikes
- Dedicated support: a dedicated solutions engineer, private Slack channel, and tailored SLAs
- Custom models: models tuned to your specific use case, developed with the Pika Research team
Can I use outputs commercially?
Yes. All API outputs are licensed for commercial use under your Pika API agreement. You retain ownership of your prompts and inputs.
If I have additional API questions, who can help?
Every API customer gets a shared Slack channel with our developer-relations team. For non-urgent questions, email api@pika.art and we typically respond within one business day.
